Royal QLD Yacht Squadron Brisbane

Located in Brisbane’s Manly Harbour, Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron has been ‘the place’ for boaties to meet, compete and socialise for over 125 years. Situated 30 minutes by road from Brisbane’s CBD, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is a terrific boating destination with over 6ha of onshore facilities.

The superb location at Manly and easy access to the vast waterways of Moreton Bay that connects the inland route to the Gold Coast, has minimal tidal range. This convenient, well protected floating marina provides Squadron members and visitors with a range of facilities to enhance their boating lifestyle. RQYS offers a range of modern facilities including a 24 hour fuel dock, access to expansive secure hard-stand areas for trailer yachts, powerboats and dinghies, a 35 tonne Marine Travelift and slewing crane, concrete hardstand and vessel service area, complete with associated equipment and a large range of marine service providers located onsite.

Onshore there are wide open spaces, grassed areas, the club house with a well stocked bar and bottle shop, in-house dining and take away food available. In 2010 the brand new Marina Two section was opened, while the existing Marina One refurbishment is due for completion in 2013.
