Fiona Harper travel writer chats with Graeme Kemlo on Travel Writers Radio about life on the road as a travel writer. She’s launched a bold bid for a Travel Writer’s ‘Plus One’ as a sort of tongue-in-cheek search for a life partner. With lines often blurred between life, love, work & play, she’s looking for an adventurous mate to join her on some of her travel adventures near and far.
Travelling for much of the year, Fiona Harper has the sort of dream job many aspire to.
“If I had a French Pacific Franc for the number of times someone has said to me ‘being a travel writer is my dream job,’ I’d be bunkered down on a yacht in the Isle of Pines with a hot man and buckets of cold champagne,” Harper says, agreeing that the lifestyle suits her gypsy tendencies.
